Former Culture Club singer Boy George (born George O'Dowd) was convicted by a London jury on Thursday of imprisoning a male escort in his apartment in 2007. Prosecutors claimed that George restrained Norwegian escort Audun Carlsen, 29, with handcuffs in the singer's London apartment on April 28, 2007. Then, as Carlsen fled the apartment after a nude photo shoot, George beat him with a metal chain, the jury found.
